The mold has two casting ports, each of which can produce 3 samples. Each group of samples can produce 6 sample strips at most, or 3 sample strips. The minimum amount of resin used for one casting port is 60g. The minimum amount of resin used is reduced by adding curing agent at the ratio of 100:20; When mixing the casting material, it is best to heat the resin to about 30 ~ 40 degrees to improve the fluidity. The amount of curing agent should not be too much to avoid the impact of explosion and polymerization on the casting. After adding the curing agent and mixing evenly, the temperature should be maintained and put it into Eastman's recommended Vectran vacuum box. If there are bubbles at the casting mouth, hold the mold and tilt it back and forth to make the casting full; At the same time, it is best to pad a newspaper on the lower side, because sometimes the lower part of the abrasive tool may exude resin, but it does not affect the accuracy of the sample strip; After casting, keep the mold upright for 10 ~ 20 hours, and demould after confirming that it is completely cured. When demoulding, loosen the bolts with a wrench and remove them. Use a flat tool or hand to break the casting mouth to separate them. Remove the clamping plates on both sides to remove the "flash", gently bend the model plate to separate the sample strip from the model plate, and then push the sample strip from the bottom with your fingers to completely separate the sample strip from the model plate; In addition, after demoulding, trim the "flash" with a knife to complete the production of the sample strip wool embryo.
